General Announcements
Life Defenders training workshop set for Nov. 12 in Terre Haute
A Life Defenders training workshop will take place at World Gospel Church, 900 Gardendale Road, in Terre Haute, from 9 a.m.-noon on Nov. 12.
Many people today reject or are indifferent to the pro-life view, often because they’ve never heard the
pro-life position presented in a compelling manner. Life Defenders training workshops equip attendees to become effective ambassadors for life.
Life Defenders prepares advocates to communicate the pro-life position to others with confidence. Using science and philosophy, participants will learn to simplify the debate. Learn to speak intelligently and graciously on the moral issue of abortion, and leave the workshop prepared to confidently persuade others by exposing the logical fallacies of abortion-choice rhetoric without the need for vitriol and angry dialogue.
The workshop is appropriate for those in seventh grade and older. It is made possible by a partnership between Wabash Valley Right to Life, Project Life Voice and Right to Life of Northeast Indiana.
The workshop is free. Registration is requested for proper planning, but walk-ins are welcome.
For more information on the workshop’s contents or to register,
go to ichooselife.org/LDTerreHaute. For questions, contact Kay Mitchell at 812-240-4212.
