Catholic Charities is seeking a Full Time Mental Health Therapist at our Bloomington office. This is a five-day work week (Monday-Friday).

The Mental Health Therapist provides mental health counseling.

Responsibilities:

The Mental Health Therapist will provide clinical counseling; provide culturally sensitive and trauma-informed care; conduct assessments and treatment plans; respect clients and adhere to professional boundaries; maintain a consistent weekly productivity; attend clinical staffing; complete required paperwork and charting; and comply with state and federal laws on privacy.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The Mental Health Therapist will have knowledge of developmental and behavioral dynamics of children, adolescents, adults and families; maintain confidential information; demonstrate commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion; demonstrate experience/ability to respond to cultural differences; ability to use trauma-informed practices; ability to use in-depth understanding of practice theory; ability to work collaboratively with others; and willingness to foster the mission of the Church.

Education, Training and Experience

Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, or related field; Indiana Licensure or Indiana Associate Licensure; pass required background checks; understand and comply with the Code of Conduct; and complete child safety training.
